Interviews should be about How to search(google) for some problem.
I guess Interviewers should only measure how to search (google) for a solution and not be about something else.
All interviewers (including me at some point of time) ask the following type of questions for the person who wants the job:
- Ask him IQ or some puzzel questions trying to measure how smart is he/she.
- Ask him some Database question measuring his abilities to write queries.
- Ask him some Design problem to see how he can think in higher level.
- Ask him specific programing problems measuring his experience in Java/C++/ ... etc.
- Ask him some hard question for measuring his/her ability to solve hard problems and may be innovate algorithm.
But I guess all of this is nonsense as the most important thing is how to search -google- for what you want as much as you are a good googler as much as you are a good developer.
SO Interviewers should ask the person that came to catch the job to do something like:
Can you develop recursive problem using AKA language?
This is not specifically what I mean but I mean questions should contains something that force him to make search so I asked to develop something using AKA which is language not know by many people.
to be continued ...
